Xiaomi’s Mi Watch @ $185

Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Mi Watch: an Apple Watch lookalike that runs a skinned version of Google Wear OS with prices starting at $185 (CNY 1,299).

We first saw a glimpse of the Mi Watch last week when we noted its physical similarities to Apple’s smartwatch. There’s a curved rectangular touchscreen, a knurled crown for scrolling, and a pill-shaped button right below that — all the same as Apple’s device.

But Xiaomi has now shared more details about the Mi Watch, and it does sound like a capable little competitor. Engadget reports that it has a 1.78-inch AMOLED display with 326ppi pixel density and a 570mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims is good for 36 hours of use. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor and 1GB of RAM, and it comes with 8GB of internal storage. There’s also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC functionality, a heart rate monitoring feature, and eSIM support for 4G connectivity.


The big differential (apart from the price) is Xiaomi’s custom software skin for Wear OS: MIUI For Watch. This looks like it gives Google’s OS a vaguely Apple-ish visual overhaul. Xiaomi has created its own apps for the device, including lightweight versions of its Tasks, Recorder, and Notes apps, and MIUI For Watch will also have its own app store.

Rounding out the feature set are various health functions, which Xiaomi deployed to great effect in its cheap and popular Mi Smart Band. According to TechRadar, these include a blood oxygen sensor, sleep and exercise tracking, and something called “body energy monitoring.” The Mi Watch is also apparently water resistant for swimming.

The bad news is that the smartwatch will only be on sale in China initially. The basic watch will be available for $185 (CNY 1,299) on November 11th, with a flashier version (with a stainless steel case and metal strap) coming later in the year for around $290 (CNY 1,999). It’s possible that the Mi Watch will also launch in other countries in the months to come. Alongside the watch, Xiaomi also unveiled the CC9 Pro: a smartphone with a 108-megapixel camera.

Can I watch my own YouTube video to get 4000 watch hours?

4000 hours is equivalent to 166 days of continuous watching. The amount of power that you will need to spill just to achieve that YouTube requirement. You also need 1000 subscribers in order to be able to generate money on YouTube.

YouTube has its algorithms. One of which will check if the video is being watched by the same person, and it will decide that view would count or not. So if you would watch your videos on repeat and wait 166 days, that probably wouldn't work because of the algorithm.

I know that what I'm about to say is not what you asked for, but even if you did have the requirements for generating money, you would of course still need views for it. If you think you could make yourself a millionaire if you don't have the views to make even $10, I think you should consider not focusing on making money, but making fun on YouTube.

I would recommend running a campaign for your channel some of our musician friends have a channels and they use other methods like contests paid search and have been able to get to their goals but let’s be honest Why should you have to ?

I understand its nice to be on Youtube but if you want to get there i recommend using groups and do the following

• Find people in your niche and build a team
• Watch each others videos comment share
• Use a site like Home – Channel Clipz they offer free views it helped us get to our 10,000 views on a few channels but now we are using their site to share viewership and its 100% free and we share advertisements with them they let us put our own advertisements if we opt out of their advertisements its in beta ran by a few college students at this time but i believe they have potential.
• Promote your videos with text before the video in any social post engage in with comments likes and shares Use G+ it is actually a great way to share content people just do not know it.
• Use your videos in Blog posts for Blogger or your own site and add some custom content to your blog not on your Youtube channel and start a email list.
• What is your goal with your channel what if you meet Youtube standards and they change the rules again
• SEO is important so use :PROPER RESEARCH
• LAST TIP: Subscribers watch time etc is nice but it would be less stressful to own your own blog website wouldn't it ? Comments matter you need 12 people to comment like share and watch your channel and lets be real put some time and effort in your videos a intro using Panzoid and using Canva to add custom branding in your videos and channel art are a must.

Create a 20 super long videos. Long as possible eg: 10 hours each = total of 200 hours. Do NOT monetize them and keep them public. Then make a play list of all the videos together and send it to as many people as possible and ask them to leave their computers on watching the playlist whilst they are out at work or school or sleeping. The more people who help the better. It may not give you 4000 hours but each person is potentially going to give you 200 hours of watch time after 8/9 days. So even if five people help that is a total of 1000 hours.

• Download the Moto E boot logo file: Moto-E-2015-logo.zip
• Install Android SDK on your computer or simply download the minimal ADB and Fastboot tool (extract the zip): mfastboot-v2.zip
• Install the Motorola USB Driver on your computer.
• Enable USB Debugging on your Moto E 2015.
• Unzip Moto-E-2015-logo.zip file and copy the logo.bin file to the same directory where ADB and Fastboot files are present. If you have installed the Android SDK, copy the logo.bin to Android/ sdk/ platform-tools folder. In case you have downloaded Minimal Fastboot tool, copy the logo file to mfastboot-v2 folder.
• Now press Shift key+right-click on the mouse from within the platform-toolsor mfastboot-v2 folder and select Open command window here option to launch cmd prompt.
• Now connect your Moto E2 to computer reboot your phone into the Bootloader/Fastboot mode using the following command. You can also boot into the Bootloader mode by pressing the Volume down + Power keys together while the device is turned off.

Command #1 adb reboot bootloader

• When your phone gets into the bootloader mode type the following command and hit the Enter key:

Command #2 mfastboot flash logo logo.bin

• When the logo file is flashed to your Moto E, type

Command #3 mfastboot reboot

Your Moto E will reboot now and while it reboots, you would notice that the bootloader unlocked warning has gone and it has been replaced by the official logo.
