According to Android Police, a screenshot of the feature surfacing for beta iOS users has revealed that WhatsApp has includes a line that says, "Video call," and "Video calling is unavailable at this time." This line hints that WhatsApp is all set to roll out this video call feature in days to come.
The report further revealed that this feature can be used on some devices running the Beta app, "but it's not yet activated and requires the other party to have the beta too."
However, we are yet to find out whether it will be finally used by Beta participants only or it will be able to all WhatsApp Users.
Other than this, the report further added that WhatsApp is also planning to introduce option to send group invites via links and NFC tags, voicemail as well as zip and vcf file sharing.
In March, WhatsApp had introduced document sharing feature for both Android and iOS users alongside other sharing options like contact, location, and photo & video.
In order to fit in the 'Document' icon in the Android version, WhatsApp had brought in 'Photo' and 'Video' sharing options under 'Camera' option. And in iOS version, the 'Share Document' option pops up along with other options under 'Upload' icon.
